Spring Break - March cont.

We went to San Antonio to the Westin at La Cantera again, it's getting to be tradition! We visited Sea World Friday, then swam and played all Saturday, the after church Sunday we visited one of the Missions in San Antonio, really wonderful piece of history. There are four to see (they are all a national park, actually), but we only had time for Mission San José. We spent a good amount of time there exploring, as well as Brad and the girls watching a musical service with a mariachi band.

Some happenings earlier this year - Isabelle and Cora ran in the Fun Run at Klein Collins High School, running 2K and and both placing 2nd girls of their age groups! (They put Cora on the wrong spot on the stand).

After Christmas we had an Olson reunion at Canyon Lake, TX on "Genesis Ranch" This is Clark checking out an old train car in front of the house were all 27 of us stayed

back in Spring, the girls ran a 2K at the Klein Collins High School Annual Tiger Fun Run. Cora is in the purple

Isabelle came in as 2nd girl in her age category (she gets frustrated with the girl that comes every year from San Antonio on her rounds of racing all over the area and kicks butt. Maybe I'm the one that is frustrated with that... you can't blame them for getting their race on, but it's just a community thing, right? I want her to get to win man!!)

Cora was also 2nd girl in her age group (although they misplaced her on the stand here...)

Catching up...

I have neglected our blog. Yikes, I've started an entry that smacks of every other entry in my journal dating back to age 9. I wish I would have known how annoying it is to read now ("I haven't written in such a long time." "Sorry for neglecting you, dear journal." Bla bla just tell me what's going on already!...) So! It's March already and getting sunny and springy here in Spring, TX. The kids have all seriously been growing and getting cuter and funnier and smarter every day. Brad's been working hard, and really enjoying his job which is SO nice. He's been way in to cycling lately, getting read to ride the MS 150 (a 150 mile ride from Houston to Austin to raise money for the National MS Society, Erin did it a few years ago). I'm writing, slowly but surely, and am almost ready to submit a short story and working on a novel (7 pages so far, yeah man!) We have a busy year ahead of us, full of fun plans and more growing :-)
